Objective To evaluate the uncertainty for determination of calcium content in calcium tablets by automatic potentiometric titration. Methods The whole process of determination of calcium content in calcium tablets by automatic potentiometric titration was analyzed, a mathematical model was established, and various uncertainty components were analyzed. According to JJF 1059.1-2012 Evaluation and expression of measurement uncertainty, each uncertainty component was evaluated and the extended uncertainty was calculated. Results The content of calcium in a brand calcium tablet determined by automatic potentiometric titration was (17.85±0.17) g/100 g, k=2. Conclusion The uncertainty of this method is low and the results are reliable.
