Objective To identify the key factors affecting the quality and safety of edible oil OEM products, and to apply them to the selection, evaluation and management of OEM enterprises. Methods The Bayesian network method was used to analyze the survey data, which was obtained by investigating the managers of edible oil enterprises and the professionals engaged in quality and safety management. Results System management and quality management were the most sensitive of the 7 influencing factors to guarantee the quality and safety of OEM products. Conclusion System management and quality management were the 2 most important factors affecting the quality and safety of OEM products. It suggests that this key factor should be taken as the focus of evaluation and management of edible oil OEM enterprises to ensure the quality and safety of OEM products, brand reputation and consumer health.
