Objective To investigate the effect of purification of water quality of Pomegranate Peel Polyphenols extract. Methods The pomegranate peel powder was extracted and purified by drinking water and purified water respectively, and the polyphenols in pomegranate peel were determined by High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Result Drinking water of pomegranate peel powder extracted from pomegranate at glycosides was 2.65%; Purified water of pomegranate peel powder extracted from pomegranate glycosides was 78.79% at. Conclusion The influence of drinking water on the extraction and purification of Pomegranate Peel Polyphenols is very great, which accelerates the oxidation of polyphenols in pomegranate peel.
