Objective To analyze the surveillance cases of foodborne Salmonella in sentinel hospitals of Jilin City and provide reference for the prevention and control of outbreaks of foodborne diseases; To shorten the detection time, the detection performance of foodborne Salmonella was evaluated by up-forward photoimmunochromatography; Methods The surveillance information of foodborne salmonella cases in sentinel hospitals of Jilin Province was collected. The food-borne Salmonella detected by bacterial isolation and culture in sentinel hospitals were detected by up-forward photoimmunochromatography. Results The detection rate of food-borne Salmonella in infant population was the highest in Jilin area. The suspected food exposed was mainly fruit and its products, meat and meat products and mixed food, and the suspected food exposed in bulk was the most. Suspected exposure to food was mainly in the market, and food-borne Salmonella was detected mainly by Salmonella enteritidis and Salmonella typhimurium. Compared with bacterial isolation and culture, the results of UP-ELISA were highly consistent (coincidence rate was 100%). ConclusionStrengthening food safety and hygiene supervision in Jilin city can reduce the occurrence of foodborne diseases, and up-repeater light immunochromatography can satisfy the rapid detection of foodborne Salmonella strains.
