Objective To study the effects of polysaccharide components FOPS-a and FOPS-b from Fomes officinals Ames on immunomodulatory function of spleen lymphocytes in mice. Methods The effects of different mass concentrations of Fomes officinals Ames polysaccharide components on proliferation rate of spleen lymphocytes in mice were detected by Cell Counting kit-8 reagent, the effect on the release of NO was determined by Griess method, and the effects on the release capacity of IL-2, IL-4, INF-γ and IGg were determined by the ELISA kit. Results The polysaccharide components of Fomes officinals Ames with a certain mass concentration could promote the proliferation activity of lymphocytes, stimulate lymphocytes to release NO and promote lymphocytes to secrete IL-2, IL-4, INF-γ and IGg. Conclusion Fomes officinals Ames polysaccharide components have certain immune activity in vitro and can enhance the immune function of spleen lymphocytes in mice.
