Objective To systematically study the food contact aluminum foil aluminum migration conditions and detection methods. Methods Combined the actual contact conditions of aluminum foil paper for food contact, 3 migration conditions were simulated and the aluminum migration was detected by inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry. Results The limit of detection of the method was 0.5 μg/L, the linear range was wide, and the recoveries of spiked samples ranged from 87.0% to 99.2% with the relative standard deviations (RSDs) of 0.4%-5.5% (n=6). Conclusion The established method is suitable for the detection of aluminum migration amount of food contact material aluminum foil under different migration conditions.
