加拿大乳制品进口监控计划介绍

The mandate of dairy import monitoring program is to ensure that dairy products being imported into Canada are safe, wholesome, and accurately labelled to avoid misleading consumers. To enable entry of dairy products into Canada, the importer must meet the requirements of the CFIA's Terrestrial Animal Health Division and Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada. This program assessed the controls put in place by the importer to ensure that the product complies with all Canadian requirements, including sanitary storage conditions and handling. In addition to sampling and testing of importers, CFIA checks the compliance of dairy products by monitoring. Cheese is the main focus for sampling and analysis, and protocols have been designed for imported cheese versus other imported dairy products.
