Objective To investigate new resource food consumption, and to analyze their social and cultural influencing factors. Methods A survey of 776 consumers, and field research of six new resources food manufacturers, and by interviews of the Ministry of Health food experts were conducted, with the data analyzed using Excel and the SPSS17.0 professional statistical software. Results The influencing factors of new resource food consumption ncluded consumers’ factors, manufacturers’ factors, government policy and public opinion. Conclusion This paper concludes existing problems and solutions in new resources food development, and thus to promote theri healthy and stable development.
