This paper is fully translated from Guide in Validation of Alternative Proprietary Chemical Methods (NordVal Protocol No.2, approved 26 May 2010). NordVal was created in 1999 by the Nordic Committee of Senior Officials for Food Issues under the Nordic Council of Ministers. The Committee adopted the following objective for NordVal: NordVal evaluates the performance and field of application of alternative microbiological and chemical methods. This includes analyses of food, water, feed, animal faeces and food environmental samples in the Nordic countries. The objective of this paper is to provide a reference for chinese food analyst to develop and validate chemical methods or comunicate with Nordic inspection organization.
