Abstract:This paper takes grid-connected wind farm equivalent modeling as research object with considering wake effects. The wind turbine at different locations can capture the different wind speeds due to the influence of wake effects. Through Jensen model, wind direction and other factors, this paper proposes a method for the average wind speed of wind turbines. In order to save the simulation time and the influence of wake effect, wind farm is equivalent to a wind turbine and the equivalent mean wind speed is taken as input. Finally, this paper constructs the simulation model in Matlab/Simulink, and proves the correctness and validity of the model through studying wind speed disturbances and power grid fault.
