Abstract:Photovoltaic backsheet is an encapsulating material for photovoltaic modules. Backsheets protect photovoltaic cells from the harm of the environment,such as the moisture,the ultraviolet ray or the wind. After summarizing common test items for photovoltaic backsheet materials. This paper investigated an effective way of performance test and evaluating method for photovoltaic backsheet materials in engineering application. Basing on the results of investigation,an actual case analysis was presented.
