Abstract:One of the key problems of the deep foundation pit of tall building in Wuhan is that the seepage failute often occures in the thick artesian sandy aquifer in Hankou area. Such as water leaking and sand falling in the wall, soil flowing and step blowing in the bottom. They endangers the safety of the pit and leads to failute of environment. Mainly introduces the hydrogeological conditions and tne characteristics of groundwater seepaging net in foundation pit in this area. And discusses the selection of groundwater prevention method, the relationship between support and water-stopping structure and the calculation about the surface subsidence due to dewatering.
