摘要:新时期企业数字化转型是拓展其海外市场规模的重要手段.在对企业数字化转型促进海外市场规模拓展机制分析的基础上,利用中国海关数据库、OECD投入产出表、中国经济普查微观数据和国泰安数据库等,构建计量模型进行实证分析.结果表明:(1)企业数字化转型能够显著促进企业海外市场规模拓展,且结论具有稳健性;(2)中西部地区较东部地区企业数字化转型对海外市场规模具有更为显著的影响,并且大型企业数字化转型对海外市场规模影响更显著;(3)企业数字化转型主要通过提升企业全要素生产率促进海外市场规模拓展.研究结论为积极推进国内企业数字化建设,关注差异性特征兼顾均衡与协调发展,以及持续推动国内数字平台发展提供一定依据.
Abstract:Asthemainbodyofthemarketeconomy,moreandmoreenterprisesstarttotakedataproductionfactorsasthecore,takedataflowleadingtheupstreamanddownstreamoftheindustrialchainandcross-industryintegrationasthedevelopmentengine,andembarkonanewjourneyofdigitaltransformation.So,whatistheimpactofenterprisedigitaltransformationonitsoverseasmarketscale?Throughwhatchannelsdoestheinfluenceeffectcomeintobeing?Isthereaheterogeneousimpactondifferenttypesoffirms?Inordertosolvetheseproblems,thispaperfirstlytheoreticallyanalyzeshowenterprises'digitaltransformationaffectsthescaleofoverseasmarketandputsforwardresearchhypothesesontheinfluencingchannels.Then,amodelisconstructedtoempiricallyanalyzetherelationshipbetweenenterprisedigitaltransformationandoverseasmarketscale,andrelevantconclusionsareanalyzed.Secondly,basedonthethreeaspectsofregion,industryandenterprise,thispaperinvestigatestheheterogeneousimpactofenterprisedigitaltransformationonthescaleofoverseasmarket.Finally,fromtheperspectiveofenterprisetotalfactorproductivityandenterpriseinternalcontrol,thispaperfurtherdiscussestheimpactmechanismofenterprisedigitaltransformationonoverseasmarketscaleexpansion.Basedontheliteraturereviewandmechanismanalysisofenterprises'digitaltransformationandoverseasmarketsize,thispaperconstructsafixedeffectmodelthroughtheChinaCustomsdatabase,OECDinput-outputtable,ChinaEconomicCensusmicrodataandCSMARdatabase,andempiricallyteststheimpactofenterprises'digitaltransformationonoverseasmarketsize.Thetheoreticalanalysisshowsthatthedigitaltransformationofenterprisescanhelpenterprisesreducetradecosts,improvetradefacilitation,enhancethesymmetryandeffectivenessofinformationacquisition,strengthenthestickinesswithtargetusers,furtherexpandthemarketscale,improvethetransactionefficiency,soastoimprovetheefficiencyandcompetitivenessofthemarket,andachievethesuccessfuldevelopmentofinternationalmarketscale.Inaddition,theempiricalresultsshowthatenterprises'digitaltransformationcansignificantlypromotetheexpansionofenterprises'overseasmarketscale,andafteraseriesofendogeneityandrobustnesstests,theconclusionsareconsistent.Theresultsofheterogeneityanalysisbasedontheregionwheretheenterpriseislocated,whetheritisahigh-techenterprise,andwhetheritisalargeenterpriseshowthatnomatterwhichregiontheenterpriseisin,itsdigitaltransformationhasapromotingeffectonthescaleofoverseasmarket.Amongthem,thedigitaltransformationofenterprisesincentralandwesternregionshasamoresignificantimpactonoverseasmarketscalethanthatineasternregions.Thedigitaltransformationofhigh-techenterprisesdoesnotsignificantlyaffecttheexpansionofoverseasmarketscale;Thedigitaltransformationoflargeenterprisesismoreconducivetoexpandingthescaleofoverseasmarkets.Combinedwiththeoreticalanalysis,digitaltransformationimprovesthetotalfactorproductivityofenterprises,reducescosts,improvesproductionefficiencyandinnovationability.Digitalizationalsoreducestheinternalcommunicationcostofenterprises,improvestheoperationefficiencyofenterprises,andthenhelpsenterprisestoexpandoverseasmarkets.Basedonthis,thispaperconductsmechanismanalysisfromtheperspectiveofenterprisetotalfactorproductivityandenterpriseinternalcontrol.Basedontheresearchconclusions,thispaperproposesthefollowingsuggestions.First,activelypromotethedigitalconstructionofdomesticenterprises,andconstantlyenhancetheabilitytoexpandthescaleofoverseasmarkets.Thegovernmentneedstocontinuetobuildapolicysupportsystemandmechanismforpromotingthedigitaltransformationofenterprises,andactivelyguideenterprisestomakefulluseofdigitalenablingenterprisestoproduceandoperate,enteroverseasmarkets,andexpandthescaleofoverseasmarkets.Secondly,weshouldpayattentiontothedifferentcharacteristicsofenterprisedigitaltransformationandtakeintoaccountbalancedandcoordinateddevelopment.Ontheonehand,itisnecessarytoconsiderthedifferentcharacteristicsofenterprisedigitaltransformationandadoptdifferentiatedsupportmeans.Ontheotherhand,targetedpolicyassistanceshouldbeprovidedformediumandlowtechnologyenterprisesandsmallandmedium-sizedenterprises.Thirdly,weshouldincreasetheconstructionofinformationinfrastructureandpromotethedevelopmentofdomesticdigitalplatforms.Itisimportanttoincreasetheconstructionofdomesticinformationinfrastructureandactivelyguideenterprisestointegrateintodigitalplatforms,whichisanimportantpathforenterprisesintodigitaltransformation.Ingeneral,thepossiblemarginalcontributionsofthispaperareasfollows:First,itenrichestherelevantliteratureonthemicroeconomiceffectofdigitaltransformationandtheexpansionofoverseasmarketscale;Secondly,thispaperdeepenstheexistingliteratureondigitaltransformationandoverseasmarketentry,andfurtherdiscussestheimpactofenterprises'entryintooverseasmarketsonmarketscale.Thirdly,thispaperattemptstorevealthemechanismbywhichenterprises'digitaltransformationaffectsthescaleofoverseasmarkets.
