Abstract：Inresponsetotheproblemofboltbreakagebetweentheintermediateconnectingcylinderandcrankcaseofanewhydrogenreciprocatingcompressorinapetrochemicalcompany'sreformingunitin2023,thepossiblecausesofthefracturewereanalyzedbasedonitsappearance,boltmaterial,andboltstress.Solutionswereproposedfromtheaspectsofprocessoperation,equipmentinstallationrequirements,andbolttighteningmethodstoensurethesafe,stable,andoptimaloperationofthedevice..
