摘要:进入数字化时代,领导力的内涵发生了巨大改变,数字思维能力、数字技术能力、数字空间能力等构成了数字领导力新的结构.元宇宙推动数字生产力向前发展的同时,又会给数字领导力带来一定改变.这种改变带来了正反两方面的影响,从风险来看:首先,受资本逻辑影响,算法的霸权可能导致人们成为"数据人";其次,数字领导力和现实世界的领导力之间存在潜在"二元对冲"的风险;此外,在数字安全的背景下,人们可能被异化为"技术工具".从赋能来看:元宇宙为数字领导力提供了理念、空间、技术方面的赋能,有助于推动数字领导力全方位迭代升级,使其更好地适应数字时代的要求.
Abstract:Asthelatestachievementintechnologicaldevelopment,themetaverseisfacingatechnologicalwarinnewfields,andleadersareintensifyingtheirlayoutandcompetingforopportunities.Forexample,in2021,MarkZuckerbergrenamedhisfoundingFacebooktoMeta,andtheSouthKoreangovernmentinvested223.3billionKoreanwontosupportthemetaverseindustryin2023.Thehotpursuitofthemetaversebyleadersandthemanychangesbroughtaboutbythemetaversemergeandcoexist.Fromtheexternalenvironment,themetaversehaschangedtheprocessofleaderscarryingoutwork,thespaceforleadership,andthemediumforleadershiptoexerteffectiveness.Fromtheperspectiveofendogenousabilities,themetaversealsoplaceshigherdemandsonleadershipitself,suchastheabilityofleaderstousedigitaltechnologyandtheabilityofleadershiptocontrolthedigitalenvironment.Itcanbeseenthatthemetaversehaschangedtheexternalenvironmentandinternalmechanismsfromtheinsideout.Itnotonlyforcesleaderstomakereformsandactivelyfacerisksandchallenges,butalsobringsmultipleempowermenttotheirabilityenhancement.Inthedigitalage,theconnotationofleadershiphasundergonesignificantchanges,withdigitalthinkingability,digitaltechnologyability,digitalspatialability,etc..Asthemetaversedrivesdigitalproductivityforward,wefindthatitwillalsobringcertainchangestodigitalleadership.Thischangehasbroughtaboutbothpositiveandnegativeimpacts.Fromariskperspective,firstly,duetotheinfluenceofcapitalization,thehegemonyofalgorithmsmayleadpeopletobecome"data".Themanagementstyleofdigitalleadershasshiftedfromtraditionalexperientialleadershiptopreciseleadershipthatreliesondataformanagement.Individualinformationformsthefoundationofbigdata,whichinturndominatesandenslavesindividuals,makingthemunconsciousconspirators.Secondly,thereisapotentialriskofbinaryhedgingbetweendigitalleadershipandreal-worldleadership.Leadershavehighauthorityinrealspace,mainlyduetothetraditionalappointmentsystem,whichendowsthemwithdiscourseanddecision-makingpower.Thisleadershipstyleisindicative,usuallyasingleleadershipmodelthatassignsworkfromtoptobottom.Theleaderofvirtualspacehastheconstraintofdecentralization.Thirdly,inthecontextofdigitalsecurity,peoplemaybealienatedas"technologicaltools".Forindividuals,personalinformationleakageandpropertysecurityarethreatened.Forthecountry,thedevelopmentofdigitaltechnologyhasalsobroughtvariousthreatssuchashackerattacks,virusinfections,identityfraud,phishing,malware,ransomware,etc.Theimprovementofdigitalleadershipreliesontheempowermentofdigitaltechnology.Themetaverseisthelatestachievementofdigitaltechnology,whichshapestheadvancedformofhumandigitalsociety.Withthecontinuousintegrationanddevelopmentofrealityandvirtualspace,leadersarefacingacomplexdigitalenvironment.Leadersneedtohaveahigherlevelofdigitalleadershiptoadapttothedevelopmentofthedigitalage.Themetaversecanalsoutilizeitsownadvantagestoempowerdigitalleadershipinmultipleways,promotingthecomprehensiveiterationandupgradingofdigitalleadership.Firstly,digitalconceptsguidethemindfulnesstransformationofdigitalleadership.Studyingmindfulnesscanhelpdigitalleaderseliminateinterferenceintheever-changingdigitaltide,enhancetheirdigitalleadership,andmaketherightdecisions.Secondly,theintegrationofvirtualandrealexpandsthepracticalspaceofdigitalleadership.Therearesocialrelationshipsinbothrealandvirtualspaces,butthecarriersaredifferent.Socialrelationshipsrequireacertainleveloforderandnorms,whichrequiresthepresenceofleaders'abilitytonavigatethedigitalspace.Thirdly,immersiveexperiencepromotesthestrategictransformationofdigitalleadership.Digitaltechnologycancreateaspaceformisconceptions,allowingleaderstogainahigherthresholdofperceptionandanimmersiveexperienceforfreeindividuals.Thishelpstopromotethecomprehensiveiterationandupgradingofdigitalleadership,makingitbettersuitedtotherequirementsofthedigitalage.Inshort,utilizingtheempowermentofthemetaversetoseizeopportunitiesandfurtherinnovateanddevelopdigitalleadership.Ofcourse,thisarticlestudiesdigitalleadershipasacompetency,lackingspecificquantitativecharacterization.Inthefuture,itneedsmorescientificandrigorousevaluationandmeasurementofdigitalleadership.
