Inordertodecreasefuelconsumptionofcommercialvehicles,basedonLarge-eddysimulation,theinfluenceofdrivingparametersofsyntheticjetsonaerodynamicsdragofsimplifiedvehiclesingroundeffect.Themean-timeresultsindicatethatwithsynthet-icjetslocatedatthejunctionoftheslantandroof,flowseparationcouldbesuppressedontheslant,whichcouldresultinasmallerseparationzoneandaerodynamicpressureincrease,somaximumdragreductions18.55%withthedrivingfrequency500Hzbysyntheticjetsisrealized.Whilethesame-signedjetswiththedrivingfrequencyfrom40to300Hzareinstalledattheupperandloweroftheverticalbaseofthebody,resultinginashortenwakeregionandthepressurereductionontheverticalbase.
