Mechanicalproductsusuallyconsistofmanycomponentsandparts.Amechanicalpartalwaysshowsvariationsinitsge-ometricalcharacteristicsbecauseofuncertaintiesinmanufacturingprocesses.Qualityisoftenreflectedbyhowwelltolerancesandfunc-tionalrequirementsarebeingachievedbythemanufacturingprocessesinthefinalproduct.Theappropriateallocationoftolerancesamongthedifferentpartsofanassemblyisthefundamentaltooltoensureassembliesthatworkcorrectlyatalowercost.Therefore,anefflicienttoleranceanalysismethodmustbeapplied.Butexistingmodelsareoftenbasedonpointswhicharelimitedanddifficult,andtheimpactofthetiltedtolerancezonealongthedirectionofanalysisisn'tconsideredinmanymodels.ThepaperproposestheunificationofmodifiedJacobianmatrixandmodifiedtorsoralongthedirectionofanalysis.Anewmethodtogetthestack-uppathisproposed.Thecalculationofpercentagecontributiontoassemblyerrorfromimpactfactorsispresented.Thisapproachhasbeenillustratedbyanumericalexample.
